I don't know how many of you are experiencing any issues with the veg diet but if so, please see a nutritionist, preferably one who knows a veg diet. I've heard my share of stories (including from celebrities) who stop being veg because of a health issue and when they mention the issue, many of us veg people know the reason right away (almost always an easy solution) and wonder why they didn't seek professional help, if they didn't want to put in the effort of researching themselves for answers.
Maybe it's because of fear of doctors or medical costs…whatever the case may be, I want to mention two vegan doctors who have been around since I became vegan in the early 80's. They both have a huge website for people who are veg and want to stay healthy. Obviously, there is no substitute for actually going to a doctor in person to diagnose any issues and give you answers, but if you want to research yourself and/or just to get more info on the veg diet, check out these two sites I highly recommend:
Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine
Dr. Neal Barnard's website

So This Got a Sigh From Me
I have been going through a lot of my stuff today to either take downstairs to the free cycle area in my apt. or to throw away. As I was going through important papers to separate and throw out the old papers that are no use to me anymore, I came across this pamphlet I got from an animal sanctuary, called Out To Pasture Sanctuary, about 10 years ago, that's located in Estacada, Oregon (which, btw they were in the path of the wildfires but managed to evacuate with ALL their 150 animals at their sanctuary farm. Thank God! /\). They are accepting donations at their website.
As you can see above, they talk about the connection of yoga and animal rights. As I looked through it, although brief, they do talk about the real deep meaning of yoga philosophy…I got this 10 years ago, but didn't become a yogi until 2016! Which meant, although I read the pamphlet then, apparently the pearls of wisdom that I see in yoga now just didn't sink in at that time. I'm now thinking—what?! How could I not become a yogi then after reading this? Oh, the inner joy, happiness, and contentment now that could have been back then.
Sigh. Oh well, everything has its own time. )

Spread the Word About Vegmovies.com

I just recently discovered this very awesome veg site.
Vegmovies.com combines all the veg films on the Internet into this one stop place to go to look for animal rights films, environmental films, vegan films, etc. It even has available on the site the films listed categorically to make it easy if you're looking for a particular genre veg film.
Check it out--and spread the news, as it's a brand new website, just online for a few weeks now!
