The 7 Churches Written About in Book of Revelation

Many Bible-believing people of faith love reading the entire Bible, and we tend to have favorite quotes, favorite stories, favorite books and favorite times of the Bible.

My favorite times have been from the New Testament, specifically, from the time of Pentecost, to the Revelation. I have been studying quite a bit lately on the Churches during those times. While doing my research, I found these two incredible documentaries above of the 7 Churches, written about the Apostle John in the book of Revelation.

These documentaries are well-done! It's very much worth the watch!

And as you watch these documentaries of the 7 Churches, think about the church parish/congregation that you are a member, and really ponder which of the 7 Churches are like the one you attend....

Is that church really the right one for you?

Do you walk out of your church being really inspired and so excited about serving God even more?

Would your church be a victorious church, that would be praised by God for it's faithfulness and endurance that is spoken about in Revelation?

Food for thought.

Best Plastic-Free/Zero Waste Documentaries

In my opinion, these two films below are the BEST documentaries on going plastic-free/zero waste in regard to the everyday person making changes in their personal life. For me, it was very relatable for my life and very inspiring!

For decades being vegan, I was focused on the animals and the people, as many other vegans do. But a month ago, I "saw the light!", realizing that I'm not actively doing much for the environment...Then began my volunteer trash pickup, plastic-free, zero waste journey....

What surprises me is living in the West Coast, I've talked to and observed many Gen Xers, Millennials and younger who couldn't care less about recycling, much less being active in at least ditching single-use plastic. They are the future, but they don't care!

Veganism is about caring for animals, people and planet, and caring about planet itself (going plastic free, zero-waste) is about non-harming animals--and us people.

I thought it would be overwhelming as I looked in my home with my eyes open to all the plastic--especially in the kitchen. But as time goes, I have almost daily purged plastic from my home, replacing plastic items with awesome alternatives, and getting a HUGE amount of education from this all!

This journey is wonderful, educational, an adventure!, fun, serious as I come to find these phenomenal plastic-free items from small businesses. I'm cooking/baking more, going to bulk bins more. It's quite an experience! My home smells better, fresher, no clutter with less plastic.

What a life changing, beautiful journey...

Companion Animal Documentaries and Cookbooks

I watched two great documentaries on Netflix about dogs called: Dogs Decoded: Nova, and Science of Dogs. I highly recommend people see them, especially dog lovers. Both are terrific documentaries.

My partner Jeffrey is the cook in the family and I am the baker. Today, as Jeffery cooked some food for our Chihuahuas, I decided to try out the doggie treat cookbooks I bought months ago to bake them some treats. So, from the book: The (small dogs) Doggy Bone Cookbook by Michele Bledsoe, I made "Chasing Cheese" (They also make a cookbook for large dogs; I guess you just use more ingredients). And from the book: "MacPherson's K-9 Cookbook: Easy to make Dog Biscuit Recipes" by Mary MacPherson, I made "Sniff N' Bite Biscuits". Both cookbooks come with their own plastic dog bone "cookie" cutters: 1 cutter from the small dog cookbook, but 3 sizes of cutters from the other cookbook.

The results: Both dogs love the treats!!

They (and their relatives) also made kitty cookbook versions: The Kitty Treats Cookbook by Michele Bledsoe, and Easy-to-make Cat Treat Recipes by Dianne and Sarah MacPherson, which I plan to get and make some treats for my Siamese cat.
