Pet cemeteries reveal rise of belief in animal afterlife, U.K. study finds

"Do all dogs go to heaven? A U.K. study suggests the growing answer among pet owners is yes.

The new study has found that belief in a pet afterlife has been on the rise since the Victorian era, with more recent animal graves featuring a greater number of references to owners being reunited with their pets after death."

WHAT IS BIODEGRADABLE FASHION?

"Notorious for falling apart after a few washes, human rights violations, and polluting the planet, the fast fashion industry is a modern force to be reckoned with. But it doesn’t have to be the future of clothes. Innovation in biodegradable fashion could help make the industry more sustainable."

"UPCYCLING IS NOT JUST A FASHION ‘TREND.’ 10 BRANDS TO KNOW"

"Upcycled pieces are one of the coolest, more ingenuitive areas within eco-friendly fashion. As the eco-friendly fashion blog Ecocult explains, upcycling means to transform clothes, accessories, and textile waste into new products. Upcycled items could be post-consumer waste (items that have been purchased, worn, and discarded) or deadstock (items that did not sell).

Wherever the origin, upcycled textiles are reclaimed and reconstructed to increase their value. Designers work with whatever fabric is available to them at the moment. So, unlike mass-produced fast fashion, pieces are often one-of-a-kind."

"Should We Change The Terminology We Use To Talk About Veganism?"

"When you say you’re vegan, people hear it as a diet choice. When you say you don’t eat animals it’s more of an easily understood statement. First off, by just saying the word ‘animals’ instead of ‘meat’, it registers in someone’s mind differently. When people hear animals, they don’t think of food. Most people would say they love animals. So, when you point out it’s animals they’re eating, it’s a powerful thought for someone to consider."

Plant-Based Vegan Doctors

I don't know how many of you are experiencing any issues with the veg diet but if so, please see a nutritionist, preferably one who knows a veg diet. I've heard my share of stories (including from celebrities) who stop being veg because of a health issue and when they mention the issue, many of us veg people know the reason right away (almost always an easy solution) and wonder why they didn't seek professional help, if they didn't want to put in the effort of researching themselves for answers.

Maybe it's because of fear of doctors or medical costs…whatever the case may be, I want to mention two vegan doctors who have been around since I became vegan in the early 80's. They both have a huge website for people who are veg and want to stay healthy. Obviously, there is no substitute for actually going to a doctor in person to diagnose any issues and give you answers, but if you want to research yourself and/or just to get more info on the veg diet, check out these two sites I highly recommend:
